HOW TO GET STARTED

You need to decide who will do the following jobs:

 

President

The President is responsible for holding the meetings.
The President communicates to each member what needs to be done.
The President represents the club at school assemblies, at any community activities and at S.A.C.K. gatherings.


Vice President

The Vice Presidnet takes the place of the President if he or she is not available.
The Vice President also helps to organize committees for different projects.

Secretary (minutes)

The Secretary takes notes at all the meetings and reads the minutes at the next meeting.
The Secretary corresponds with the S.A.C.K. Foundation.
The Secretary is responsibile for any other mail that needs to be sent.

 

Treasurer

The Treasurer collects any money from donations, dues (if you decide to collect dues from each member), car washes or any other fund raising venture that you pursue.
The Treasurer makes sure that all money collected is deposited in the bank, with the help of one of the parents.



Committee chairmen

These people plans and organize your special projects.
They also plans and organize any fundraisers that you have.

Parent sponsor

Your club needs to have a parent that will encourage, oversee and guide your leaders.
A parent will also help to communicate with any adult organizations when needed.
